Art van Triest is in 2005 afgestudeerd aan de ArtEZ Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Arnhem. Hij houdt zich voornamelijk bezig met video en film. Zijn installaties worden gekenmerkt door een filmische beeldtaal. Door de benutting van interactiviteit, technologie en ruimtelijke aspecten zoekt Art naar andere vormen en benaderingswijzen van bewegend beeld. Zijn projecten zijn tentoongesteld in binnen- en buitenland. Ook heeft hij werk gemaakt in opdracht van de gemeente Arnhem en de provincie Gelderland.
