General information

The exposition Parallel Spaces researches our experience of space in the digital age. The public space of the street, the virtual space of the internet, and the exhibition space of the artists' initiative will come together in the work of several young media artists. These parallel spaces will be connected in a playful way, providing us with better insight into modern day conceptions of spatiality. In doing so, Parallel Spaces seeks to demonstrate that the virtual world of digital media is in no sense an illusionary world. The internet is really a meeting place or an interface for social interaction and creative experimentation.
