Sil van der Woerd is cum laude afgestudeerd aan de ArtEZ Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Arnhem. Na zijn opleiding heeft hij cursussen gevolgd in Hollywood. Sil combineert film, nieuwe media, live action video en muziek om fictieve, sfeervolle werelden te creëren. Hij heeft verschillende prijzen gewonnen voor zijn kortfilms, die wereldwijd worden getoond op festivals en tentoonstellingen. Momenteel werkt Sil aan zijn tweede videoclip voor zangeres Lolly Jane Blue.
